From my classroom experience, those who score well in Social Science do one simple thing: they read the NCERT Books for Class 8 Social Science like stories, not like mugging notes. First, read the chapter once without underlining. Then, on the second reading, mark dates, concepts and key terms.Next, make short notes topic-wise – for example, causes, events and results for every historical event, or definition, causes and effects for every Civics and Geography topic.
