What are Chemistry Formulas?

Chemistry formulas are of two types. A chemical formula represents the elements and their ratio in a compound (e.g., H₂O for water, NaCl for common salt). A chemistry equation or formula expresses the mathematical relationship between physical quantities in a chemical process, such as the Ideal Gas Law (PV = nRT) or Faraday’s Law of electrolysis. Both types are tested in CBSE board exams and NEET.
